The Steering Stabilizer Relocation Kit from JKS Manufacturing includes a high performance replacement steering damper along with a robust high-clearance adjustable mounting system – in other words everything needed to eliminate the factory steering stabilizer problems that plague Wrangler JK models on the trail track or street. Replacing the original mounting point on the axle is our Steering Stabilizer Relocation Bracket. This heavy-duty high-clearance bracket positions the stabilizer in a much safer location where limited ground clearance and contact with obstacles are no longer a concern for the driver. We also provide our Steering Stabilizer Tie Rod Mount to replace the light-duty awkwardly shaped factory part. Unlike the original mount which only accommodates the factory mounting position the new JKS mount offers as many as six unique mounting configurations. So no matter how your stabilizer is positioned the angle of the mounting stud will match. And lastly the replacement steering damper we include outperforms the OE damper in virtually every aspect. Its heavy-gauge steel body is considerably larger allowing greater fluid capacity while the increased shaft and piston size provide improved damping performance. A tight fluid containment seal prevents oil loss regardless of mounting position. And superior polyurethane bushings at each end last longer and reduce loss of motion.
