The factory black paint applied to uncoated headers is not hi-temperature and is for pre-installation protection only. For the ultimate in protection against the elements we suggest Hedman's Original HTC coating. All Hedman street Hedders are MADE IN THE USA and are backed by a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects.
